Paint looks great, the wheels would look awesome if you can remove the day light from under it....

Good idea mate, just a tip, when you lay down stripes, run the back of your thumb nail over the tape, it will make it stick better on the edges and reduce the amount of blead through. If you do it again, try do the white first too, that way you don't need as much paint on the top coat, which will also reduce the edge that is created. With so much time left, i would lightly block it back and just go again, it WILL look good with the idea you have.

Thanks for the tip Dale. And the words of encouragement guys. Body is still sitting there. Still haven't decided what to do with it. Min between listing on eBay and family duties, I managed to put a little more of the engine together. Left is the wiring up and the touch ups. Here are. Couple of pics.

LOL - well, it's a funny car, so I guess A LOT!!!
Not really sure, the kit does come with all the hoses needed, so no worries there. I would have to research some "actual pictures" of this Hawaiian Charger to see where they may have had it on the original car

I am leaning towards Pic#1 as well - white walls and cragar's
BUT - the more I look, the white walls and red steelies are pretty cool as well, they kind of grow on ya!

I'm out! Lost interest after the botched paint job. I bit more than I could chew but learned a couple of things along the way.

Too big for my pond. May just end up being an old barn find after I sand it. But not now....
