Woo-Hoo!!! road-rage-smiley-emoticon Great day today. Finished up the 32s. I brought home a little bit of work from the office but still, the start of a beautiful three day weekend!! Cleaned up the bench and took this one out. I hadn't started my thread because I was debating between this kit and a 34 Ford. And although I really want to build that one also, I figured a break more Fords would be helpful. So here she is. A Tri-Five Nomad. Still not sure what direction to go with it. Surf Wagon? Factory Stock? Gasser? Hot Rod? Custom? smiley-scared002 I dont know! But I need to decide soon. I'm thinking I'll use the Turbo engine it comes with. I look a the size of this thing and I can't believe how big it is. I can't stop staring hehe.....the wagon of course. but I keep thinking how much paint is that going to take? We'll find out soon.

Nice looking kit, and like my last girlfriend used to say, it's not the size that counts, it's what you do with it......lol

Seeing this makes me really want to get one. I debated many times to try and snag one, and now I do believe I will. For sure, whatever you decide to do will most certainly be awesome, I really like the Surf Wagon idea myself - AWESOME CHOICE!!!!

I've never seen this one. Looks like a lot of promising things can be done with it and right down your alley too.

Ordered some resin steelies. They arrived yesterday but not sure it's what I want to use. The body does sit in primer now. I ordered a different set of wheels that might work instead of these. Here are a couple of pics.

No problem Paul.
Thanks Sid. Going to test out some Cragar style wheels on it. If it looks good my entire plan will change. If not I will go for this hot rod look. I just need some white walls. Anyone know of a 1/16 kit with decent white wall tires or where I can get some. I've look online and nothing.

Looking good Ice! Cant wait to see more!
Did you ever try painting your own whitewalls? I did it a few times. I use a stencil with the size circle i want. You have to use acrylic paint so it will stick to the tire though.

Thanks John. Yeah I've done it before but I'm not sure these would look good if I paint them myself. I'll probably try it anyway.

Thanks Sidney. Went to the hobby shop today and found some larger scale wheels. Theyre too small arent they? I'm still waiting for something a little bigger. They should arrive any day now.
