This month I am building Cooters Tow Truck. As usual, I'm combining parts from multiple kits to try and make it more accurate.
This is what I'm starting with.
Over the series Cooter drove several different trucks, so there's no one "correct" (or wrong) way to build one. Mine will be based on this one, but it will not be an exact replica of this truck!
Here's all the major parts for the build. The Midnight Cowboy will provide the engine, chassis, suspension and wrecker parts. The duallie rims are from a Monogram Ford F-350. Not shown in this pictures are 6 tires from my parts box that look much better than the tires in the Ford kit. This is the same C-10 cab grille and interior that was in the first pic, but here it's had a bath in the purple pond! The decals are from Firebird Design.

Here's tonight's update:
The chassis and engine are done. 
Grille is detailed. 
Cab is blue and white.
The wrecker bed and parts are also painted, but I didn't take a picture of them. I hope to finish this tomorrow since I'll be heading out Thursday morning. If not I will have a couple of days when I get back to finish it.
