This custom NASCAR build, I made nearly all the decals. Hod / trunk area / Even the car numbers.
Made this for my wife, probably 9 years ago, cannot remember what kit was the donor, wish I could remember - trunk came pre-cutout!
Pretty proud of this one, looks nicer than the pics seem to show - one of my first attempts at adding plug wires as well

Fine job making the decals. Really sets it off. I used to think I would like to make my own decals but it is a big investment for me and a lot of work. Good job on the engine wiring.

Thanks Dennis - and hey - no big investment needed for decals. Oh sure, if you want those made with an Alps printer, better decals yes, but expensive - DOUBLE YES.
All I use is my regular ink jet printer, just need to print several drafts, (so you do not use much ink during this process), until you get what you want sized.
The other thing I learned is to "Fill" the sheet with all kinds of stuff. That helps keep the cost down as well, live and learn you know, LOL
