I am working on a kit right now that I would like to have plaid inserts on the seats. Does anyone have an idea for how I can accomplish this? I have an idea but wouldn't mind any input that may save a little time.

jk, Look for images online (google images) of the plaid you are wanting. Color copy and install. Use white glue/water mix for adhesive. Another possibility is doll house supplies.(google). There may be a material that you want. Hope this helps.. Rick

Thanks Rick. The only way I had thought about it before now was to paint individual stripes, but that could be time consuming (not like this hobby isnt already!) and I would have to have a VERY steady hand.

I myself am planning to do this, going to get some fabric spray, like the kind use dom 1:1 insulation - headliners, etc. Hobby Lobby has a small can of actual fabric adhesive, then pick out some material in the sewing department - cut to fit, or wrap the seats, spray and stick! If it works or not, who knows, but when I get to it, WIP's will be posted...
