Hey everyone. Have been away from the bench since completing my anniversary build. Between work and a bit of traveling for business, I've been tackling a family project. We decided to add a pool this year. I've been helping here and there after work and on weekends. Has been a couple of months already and it's very close to being considered finished. It's a 30x15 pool. 4'6" deep on the ends and 5'6" in the middle. Heated with a salt water system. I wasn't fully aware of how much work it is to maintain it, especially the first 30 days. I have to be scrubbing it 3 time a day for 30 days.

I had all grass and a sprinkler system and it killed me to see all being torn apart. Now back to laying grass again and redoing the sprinklers. Need some tropical plants and working on putting something together for that corner you see out there. A little sitting area with a fire pit is what I'm thinking. But anyways, the bench is all cleaned up ready for my next project as soon as I have some time.

I thought I'd share some pics with you guys.

Very nice pool Ice!! We are thinking of doing about the same size, BUT hearing about that maintenance is making me re-think!!

For sure, a sitting area in the corner / along the back fence wall would be awesome.
I like those corner lights, but word of advice, landscape around them, or for sure the first running child will take them out, LOL

Now all you need is some tiki oil lamps from Wal-Mart - and we got us a model kit hula!!!! Just let me know when, Michelle and I will come on down!!!
