Quick question..... Finishing up the Camaro build, and there are decals on the front and rear windshields. Now I know to ALWAYS clear coat decals. In fact, this was easy to do with the small rear windows on the Evil 66 Nova. BUT - this is both the full rear and front windshields. Clear coat the whole window? Or can a coat of wax suffice? ? thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

I've never done it but would masking the window and just clearing the strip and a little more off the decal so the line looks like a sun strip work(sun strip is the uk name, Not sure of the US name but its the stickers that cover 3 or 4 inches of the top of the screen)?

I'm with Dennis. I'd dip the window in future floor polish after the decals are good and dry. Then place them on a napkin or papertowl with some kind of box over them to keep dust off and the napkin will soak up extra future.

You can brush Future on also as it is self leveling and doesn't leave brush strokes. Future really isn't a floor wax even though that is how they label it. All it is, is an acrylic clear coat. Says so on the bottle and if you mess it up just wash it off and do it again. Dries real fast too. Every new kit I get the first thing I do is brush future on the chrome, let it dry and bag it and put it back in the kit and put it away. The chrome doesn't fade any after that and when I handle it I don't leave finger prints and the chrome doesn't rub off if I have to handle it a lot.

Stitch - Future is just your ordinary floor wax. Like after you have mopped, you take the future, squeeze it all about, re-mop, and TADA - you have shiny, and i might add, slippery floors! BUT - I did not find Future - you guys think this Mop & Glo would be the same?

Read the label Tom and see if it says it is an acrylic. If it is it should work. I buy mine at Ace Hardware. Pledge with Future Shine it says on the label.
