This is the Monogram kit. It has a bunch of poorly fitting parts, but overall it looke pretty good. I'm very pleased with how this went, warts and all, being as it's my first in 50 or so years. This is a stock build with the exception of the engine plumbing and wiring. Body: Americana Light Buttermilk with Future clear coat, airbrushed Interior: Americana Deep Burgundy BMF: the foil I found in the kitchen drawer PE bits by Model Car Garage Dash gauges & license plate by bestmodelcarparts (eBay) Thanks for looking. Suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Sidney you did a fine job on this build. Especially for your first coming back. My first coming back was shameful. Very clean and pretty. Excellent trim work. What color did you use on the carburetors? hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon

Nice work, I have this kit but haven't opened it yet. I like how you've detailed it and hope mine turns out this nice when I take it out of the box

Nice work, I have this kit but haven't opened it yet. I like how you've detailed it and hope mine turns out this nice when I take it out of the box If yours is like mine, be prepared for lots of extra work removing seam lines and getting parts to fit. If I'd known beforehand what this kit was like, I wouldn't have bought it. On the other hand, it was a great opportunity to learn some problem solving skills.

I only bought it for the grille originally. After seeing yours I'm inclined to build mine now.

Where do you get this Martha Stewart paint? Sorry...got all those paints (except for the Tamiya) at our local Michael's or Joann's craft stores. They almost always have coupons on their web site that you can print off for a substantial discount...usually 20% - 30%. You can also order those paints from any number of web sites.

A very nice clean tidy build mate, a great job on the foil, especially for household foil, thats a challenge in its self. The paint color suits it very well, and some nice detailing thrown in too. hand-clapping-smiley-emoticon
