Thanks guys, I will risk glueing the chromed part. I had a closer look before bed last night and I think I can get around it and add some strength if I cut some thin pieces of sprue and stick the inside edges of the bumper to that. There is only one tiny bit off the chrome that actually seems to need glued, the rest sits flush to the body without going under except right at the wheel arches. Hopefully it wont show up too much when viewed from underneath. I would say it's a bit of a mess up on both mine and the kit, mine for not checking and the kit for not being too well designed in the first place. I'm going to have to file down a section of the glass too as now its fitted the body wont go on the chassis too well as its hitting the bumper.

Well this one is finished. While the individual parts go together pretty well when it comes to final assembly it turns to &^%$, only 1 small tab to glue rear bumper to, nothing to stick the front bumper to, engine hits the radiator stopping body fitting well even after i cut the fan off and glued inside the rad shroud, rear of chassis doesn't fit with the bumper on so I trimmed it back a little, the glass is bigger on one side than the other, the hood wont close properly with the front lights fitted and even after trimming the edges of the glass the sides of the chassis are below the body, and finally the decals fell apart as soon as I put them in the water These are the tabs I added for sticking the bumper on, this is a before (after trimming the tab for the bumper off) and after pic of where I had to trim the chassis to get it even close to fitting and I trimmed the side a little later to get the exhaust on and the fan glued into the shroud If I get another of this kit it will just be for the engine seats and rear axle, it will definately not be to build a jag. As I said at the start the parts are nice and its only the final fit that is really poor to the point it came very close to having an nasty accident. Finished pics in a few mins once they load

At least it's finished. I'll just put it at the back of my builds when I get some way to show them.
