I just bought a Pyro model kit from this guy on eBay... stores.ebay.com/audidreamscometrue?_trksid=p2047675.l2563I'd never even heard of them before. He's got a bunch of them, though most are 1/32 scale. He also has a couple of Matchbox kits, something else I didn't know existed. Anyone know anything about the Matchbox kits, good or bad? |

Pyro kits are kind of like the Palmer kits from back in the late 70's early 80's. Not alot of detail - BUT if they are sealed, the value does nothing but go up and up.
The Matchbox kits are kind of the same from the 80's and 90's. Have not built any of them, but I do collect them

I think the 1/24 1/25 matchbox kits were actually produced by ertl, matchbox probably already had licensing for the cars so ertl didn't have to shell out the money for that part of it lol.

The Match box kits in 1/25 are usually AMT reissue kits, they had cars and aircraft kits and I think later ERTL bought Match box, if I remember right but I might have it backwards too.

Thanks for the info. The Pyro kit I bought is a 1/25 scale Cord convertible. 1/32 is too small for me.
