Hello Everyone. My name is Mike and I am from St Thomas Ontario. I recently got back into the hobby after 30+ years. I have already perused this forum and I hope to one day soon have something I feel is good enough to upload. I am currently on my 3rd and 4th models. The first one and I are not on speaking terms right now. The models since have improved in my opinion. Al though they are far from perfect and there are quite a number of mistakes I am happy with my work. This is a great way to relax and unwind.
Thanks for listening
Mike D

Welcome to the club Mike D. We all had to start someplace and we all are growing in the hobby. Looking forward to seeing your builds. Pretty country up there.

Welcome, I am freshly back at the hobby myself. You can learn a lot here. It is an enjoyable hobby. And frustrating sometimes but every one gets a little better and a little more satisfying.

Hey Mike D. Welcome to the club. Many of us probably don't speak to our first few models either. Feel free to share your projects and ask for advice. You might get a few different answers but more than likely all good ones. Questions are answered without judgement. Hope to see some of your work and comments.
I agree with you about the relaxing part by the way.

Welcome Mike!!
I say post what you have, even the one you will not speak to! Lol. Trust me, I just had a 9 month "hell of a time" build with a 66 Nova, but still I posted it. And honestly, it's growing on me - S L O W L Y
But for sure, post some builds, jump in on some voting, follow some of these absolutely awesome builds these guys do, and for sure, I know you will learn and/or re-learn some tips. This place has been nothing but knowledge for me, these guys are awesome!!!!

Welcome Mike! I'm a new guy on this forum as well and it sure is a great place! One of the good things about these forums is that you'll find lots of good tips and tricks and different building methods that will help you while building and that will improve your models. I noticed that same thing when I first time ever joined on a car modeling forum. Hopefully we will see your pics in the future.
