One of the other sites had the same idea with a Nova, but it was more straight-edged, and it looked more "normal." The size and curves of the Pontiac, not as good as the Chevelle(?)-based El Camino. Great effort in any event, just my opinion on looks.

Excellent job on this conversion! I've always liked seeing something that "Could have been made". This definitely belongs to that category, it looks like Pontiac could have really built this kind of Pickup back then. Excellent job combining those two bodies and very nice and clean work otherwise as well. Good looking paint job and parts fit and everything looks perfect. Very nice job.

Well done. What did you use for the rear half? I know of no 1/24 El Camino kits, just 1/25. To combine the scales is difficult.

Midnight prowler take a look in the under construction for pictures of how it all went together. It was actually a pretty good fit.
