I use several of these forums, but I wanted to join here as well since this looks like a good place. I see that here are some folks that I've seen on other forums and maybe some of you know me, but for those who don't...Here's a little introduction.
I'm an 18 year old greasehead from Finland. I've been building model cars since I was six years old and my main interests are Drag Race cars, Hot Rods and Customs. But I like anything as long as it's old school. Modern big wheels and low profile tires, LS Engines etc, basically that whole Pro Touring /Resto Mod stuff annoys me a bit. I like building replicas of old Drag Cars and especially Stock or Super Stock cars, Factory Experimental cars and Gassers are my favorites, but "What If" style builds are neat as well.
Now as I turned 18 and I got my driver's license, 1:1 scale cars is another thing that takes a lot of my spare time. I have an '87 Chevrolet Van G20 with a 379 Cid Diesel engine as my daily driver and a '60 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupé with Matching Numbers 283 SBC as my 'Summer Cruiser'. I'm also driving Stock Eliminator in K/SA with a 1974 Malibu Classic that we rebuilt with my dad a couple of years ago.
Music is my big interest as well. I listen Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly music a lot and no other types of music is heard from my turntable! My absolute favorite band is a Swedish Rockabilly Trio called The Go Getters (Go Getters - Lady Luck) and another favorite of mine is a Finnish Rockabilly trio The Greasers (The Greasers Live).
I'll post some pics of my builds and on the 1:1 toys as well...Stay tuned.

It's because there are so many Old School style cars that I want to build that it might take me forever to do that.
