Hi all well I'm learning lots with this build, oven cleaner takes the gold off ok but not the size, the size is still sticky so you could probably guild it again, if you try and sand it you get lots of little sticky particles all over the part that you cant get off white spirt wont touch it, but, eureka methylated spirits gets it off.

Great start and thanks for all the photos showing different angles. You might have convinced me to try and start a bike project. Glad you could get the size off.

Always look forward to your builds, the way you patinate (is that a real word) them just looks real. Just like a bike in britain would look, especially japanese bikes
