Thanks to tubbs - (so very awesome man - thank you), he sent me the actual chrome arm from the original kit! I researched the real arm, (sold on e Bay a few years back), and am going to do my best to duplicate...  Painted with a coat of flat white, then satin white. I mixed some warm gray and silver to come up for the racing glove.  Then I added a touch of flat tan to the arm. Next up, some simpson decals and the arm patch decal, add some brown to dirty up the sleeve, will take a few colored pencils, brown/black to add lines and dirty it up a bit, then finish it all off with some flat clear.  |

Thanks Ice! Well, the arm, she is all dirtied up. I threw in one teaser pick of the arm, on the car, AND the 1/64 die cast comparison. Now to make a "Finished" thread with nicer pictures - with a burn out of course!!    |

Nice. Where is the arm from? I'd be interested in modifying it a bit and maybe adding it to some chopped hot rods. The entire build looks great though.

You are not kidding Ice, the original Revell kit is a hard one to catch! Maybe I should try to make a cast of this arm??? thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon
