Now that I have your attention ......
You know we all do it, buying a kit just for the slick rims ! So where do you guys steal your wheel / tire combos from now ? The days of the 3 n 1 kits are long gone, and even before I sold all my stuff, my stash was getting low. There are vultures on ebay parting out kits, and asking up to $20 just for the rims / tire combos. And with kits pushing over $20 a pop now, i can't afford buying two or three of something just for the rims.
Has anyone used the Fujimi, Pegasus, or Aoshima sets before ? Just wondering.
Mike

I guess it depends on what you build. The Fujimi and Aoshima are more aimed at European and Japanese cars. The Pegasus, in my opinion, are more like a pro touring style. I've used them all and for my somewhat imported car slant in building, I prefer the first two.

Heres what I have in mind, something in the Fast n Furious mode. I like Doms' Charger, but this Daytona is slick.

I like the Pegasus wires for low riders, and a few other styles aswell, when i can get them down this way. A few years ago i managed to get about a dozen sets of Aoshima rims, and they are a very nice piece, for the right build. You just have to be selective. But the best wheels are the ones ol' mate drops off on your door step, because he is cleaning out the shed, and no longer wants all those old models laying around. The mighty wheel , i think, is the key stone of a build, it makes or breaks a build. What you are planning would be one wicked build, some wheels from a tuner kit would work, but you would need to find an outer rim from something else, to give it the dish.

MAS EFX wheels are pretty nice. You just have to find tires that will fit the way you like. An advantage that Aoshima and Fujimi wheels have is that the low profile wheels are included and the total price is $10-$15. I'll look to see if I have something similar. I also got my hands on a few sets from a collection i bought.

I'll be following along too, I'm always NOT satisfied with the "stock" ones given as for the "other" stock ones wanted..... They seem to ALWAYS supply the Mopar Magnum 500's when I'd much rather have the Mopar Rallye rims.......

But the problem is they're so damn rare, it's unrealistic to use them on too many builds.
