Thanks for sharing, that 53 Chevy Custom gives me an idea for mine. Whuch issue or issues were these from? Hot Rod has really improved with age hasn't it?

Nice spread of magazine shots. A lot of nice and interesting stuff.
I have always looked to car mags for inspiration on build ideas, both 1:1 and scale models.
If these mag posts you put up here can't get your creative juices flowing, well,...maybe you're just a little dead inside.
That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

It's the September issue, I just got mine, boy they sure are ahead of schedule on the subscription, I will be getting this until Jul 21, wow that a lot of Hot Rod Magazines.

That's what I love about digital subscriptions. Some I get more than a month ahead. All these are from one magazine. I'll post more from others later.

funny, I have all the magazine those cars appeared in originally and now I want to get this issue. hello. I am a magazine junkie. my last acquisition put me pretty close to 10,000, give or take 1 or 2. car exchange, street scene, rod and custom, custom rodder, hot rod, car craft, popular hot rodding, all of the mopar issued magazines, the old hot rod pictorials, super chevy, hi-performance Pontiac, ford magazines. need I say more. yes, I will, car modeler, scale auto, model car science..... probably isn't the place but here is some of my collection. these I just got, Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted.. and if you look in the back at all the granger boxes, they hold approx. 75 to 125, depending on how thick the magazines are. Attachment Deletedi am really starting to get into the hard covered books and 1 of a kind thick magazine type books. |
