Freakin' Awesome! I realize I'm not as car savvy as many in here but I had no idea there was a VW like that.

This one is very modified, the engine is bored out from 1.8 litre up to 2litre and i'm guessing the turbo is massive with some sort of anti-lag system on it since it didn't seem to hesitate when accelerating. I like how standard looking it is best, just the thing to tease a hellcat or two, lol

Mate, what i said when i saw this , is not suitable for here, but..... bugger me, that is just freaking amazing!! The poor guy on the bike would be completely demoralized, no bike guy EVER wants or expects to be done by a car, especially one that small, thanks mate, that is incredible!! ( and i do not like small cars...but!!!! ) shhhhh-smiley-emoticon

WHOA! A car that beast a bike! NO CRAP..... jaw-dropping-smiley-emoticon NOW granted thats some small car doing insane amounts of power, BUT... its modified too, this set isn't a "standard" to the VW is it? I ask as if this is the case, Take what they did to that little 2 liter, and do the same to the existing Mopar Hellcat, as its not just a block and stuff, its also superchargered!!!! SO it makes me wonder as the new Hellcat is already 707 HP, what adding a turbo to force feed air to it would make it? (Interesting question i must say!) bowdown-right

Oh this one most likely has everything forged inside the engine, complete steel gearset, and a turbo you can fit your head in. It's also 4wd from the golf r32 and a third of the weight if standard, but I would expect a loy of it to be fibreglass or carbon too. I'm sure someone is fitting a turbo to the hellcat by now though.

-possibly, I just wonder what the HP would be on top of the 707 HP with it supercharged...... IF it has been done, no one has "tested" the HP on the output of the engine as they are "new" factory cars as the Hellcat Challenger!

That golf would still embarrass the hellcat though, 1000lbs weight against at a guess 3000lbs. Now imagine the golf on standard looking wheels turning up for a drag race. lol

That was very entertaining to watch. I bet that golf still weighs in around 2,000 lbs with all that cage work and being all wheel drive.
John, I'm sorry but I don't think any amount of Mopar horse power would ever catch that little car lol. If you put that much hp in a hellcat all you'd create is a helluva tire smoker. On a side note, have you seen the new Mopar drag pack challengers?

DAMN Jesse! Thats something! NO I didn't see that version......BUT GAWD it sure does sound good if nothing else.... BUT they did not SHOW its "time" on how long it took to go whatever distance it was going looked to be 1/8 mile (I might be wrong) but GAWD... that looks FUN!
big-drooling-smiley-emoticon
I bet your right tho on the VW......The roll cage I would say once all said and done its damn close 2,000 LBS......Sadly tho, thats NOT "stock" as the street Hellcat is, add in a Road pounder Turbo to the Hellcat, to the existing engine I bet it be damn close, I mean really, the Hellcat is fast to start with having the supercharger is already 707 HP. The only thing they may have to do after the race is change the engine. as to run the super charger AND ANY turbo's the compression being what it is really is to high....and as-is street legal, its considered "low" to run the supercharger! SO might but some strain on the main bearings!
Either case, I'd still like to see it happen just for S&G's......
