I see a few in there I wouldn't mind, especially the US spec rabbit(called the golf this side of the pond) I'm excited for the Heller release in august of the massey ferguson te20 tractor, and belkits (from belgium) are releasing a mk1 ford escort around the same time. I've got my pre order in for both.

A few nice kits, fer sure. However, as one who has attended model toy conventions/shows for decades, it is dwindling in builders. All efforts to bring in young builders have pretty much failed. Changing times, even teens interested enuf in cars to get licenses is off from when it was the big thing. The technology of 3D "printers" that can make nearly anything and cost less every year makes our "hand crafting" not such a great skill. The skill is now in programming (coding) for computers and printers. I applaud all model builders, but fewer of us appreciate hand crafted models. Oddly, military modeling seems to be doing O.K.

-I see a few I wouldn't mind having either, BUT some of them shown I actually already GOT! HOWEVER a "few" of them also shown has been gotten by a few of our own members here! Sadly enough, already been built, or being worked on as well! That parts pack listed of the Chrysler Hemi engine and Chevy Corviar engines, I got that and its a DAMN NICE chrome set up. ALTHO, I've done traded off the Corvair engine! (Only wanted it for the all chrome Mopar 392 Hemi anyway..... I also got the Hot Rod Hydro as well, just a re-badged Hemi Hydro kit is all. comes with a nice trailer too!  |
