Hey guys I bought a mad max kit discribed as open but unstarted could be missing pieces as is . Well I bought it and when I got it the other day it turned out to be just a body and all the interior pieces with rims and tires. No glass no frame no chrome and no suspension ! I'm hoping maybe someone has a parts kit or made a slot car using that body and is looking to sell the left over parts. I really want to build this kit so I'm not looking to sell. Please keep your eyes open and let me know if you can help! Thanks

Do you know what the base kit is? I'm assuming it a US muscle car. I have some early to mid 90s muscle car kit chassis that might fit

Just had a look on ebay uk, I've paid less for real cars but there is a 2 car set in hong kong. If you wait a couple of months til the movie comes out the price might go down. The clips I've seen of the movie look good too

The clips I've seen of the movie look good too I actually think that will probably cause the prices to go up. Beast, post a pic of the box. I might have what you're looking for.

I was thinking off this side of the pond Iceman, everybody with a kit will be trying to sell it, us brits are too greedy that way hence why the US told the brits where to go, lol. I'll keep a look out a couple weeks after the movie comes out and after folk pay silly money and if ones a fair price get it(for trade). I'm happy to do that

It came in a bag no box no instructions. Maybe gardnerpag44 will post pictures of his two to help . The way the rear hatch has been modified I'm guessing mad max 2 with the twin 55 gal drums in the back but I want to build it as the first one . Oh and the base car I believe was an Australian ford falcon ? Maybe someone else knows better !any parts will help even if it's just one or two.

There's a few mad max kits on ebay.co.uk at the moment but starting at $200 seems wrong to me. If you want to buy it and ship it to me I am happy to send on but I cant justify that on one kit, There is a double pack for $100/£70 but even that I could only ship onwards Beast. You could be lucky when the movie comes out, which given all the fb hype wouldn't surprise me and its a special edition(not like the vw golf 30,lol)

GB here's the pics of the kits I have The second one is the kit with the tanks in the back After doing some comparison against other kits this is the closest Ford chassis i think would work with a little work , also both Mad Max kits are curbside with no engines this would give you a choice of having a engine and under hood detail the chassis is from the Revell 70 Torino kit which has just been reissued And these are the wheels in the second kit a little different from the first kit ( check the pics ) I hope this helps and if you need any other pics just let me know , also I can copy the instruction sheet and send it to you if you want
