Made a little more progress on this tonight. Was waiting for some styrene sheet but the shop I ordered it from was out of stock so I have used the sprue to widen one side and to alter the frame. Plenty of reshaping to do to the chassis but at least all the mounts are in place and its plastic so I can reshape relatively easily. I've also changed to a smaller diameter set of wheels as the alfa ones were going to be too big. next up is to widen the other rear wing and to narrow the front suspension. Its not going to be much higher than it is in the pics.

Thanks for the comments guys, at the moment I'm thinking about stock 2 tone colour scheme, maybe baby blue and cream, with a tan interior but that may change as I get into it more.

Made some more progress on the rear suspension tonight. My plan to use the alfa front suspension wasn't going to work out so I've taken the left over rear suspension from a 911 kit to use instead. I had to narrow it half an inch for it to fit between the chassis rails and also had to remove most of the area under the rear seat. I still have to fabricate some mounts for the sides of the beam as it is usually on the outside of the rails but there isn't room there so its now inside. Have also got the other rear fender cut off and widened so hopefully be on to the front end soon. Probably going with most of the 911 suspension there as well and will most likely make up some airbags instead of the stock struts. I think I have some small enough rubber rings(for putting wires through drilled holes) to use for the bags. I'm also going to have to raise the sides of the trunk lid to make it fit over the engine and I'm thinking about having the top slightly open similar to the original fiat 500 abarth(not the current one)
