I haven't been on here in quite awhile. First off I want to say I'm sorry to my secret Santa as I feel I let you down with not completing my build.
I just haven't been feeling the whole model car building thing the last couple months, well hobbies in general lol. I'm not sure when if ever in the near future I will feel up to it again.
I guess in short I've just been really depressed lately and I'm not real sure why or what to do to change that. I'm not looking for sympathy or anything like that just felt I should let you fellas know what's going on.

Jesse,
Take care of your self buddy! Hobbies will be there when you are, and I sort of know where your coming, from plus, you got a little one thats new to the family too, right at Christmas so, I'm sure you more then got your hands full! I was at that point at one time too! My little one just turned 10, so...... and I am here to say, (at least for me) it does get better, it for you right now almost feels like your chasing a never ending tail......
And yes, Depression does suck, I had my own bout with it after my open heart surgery, but it went away pretty quick and just about that time, I got back into the model cars.....
And as said, really nothing to apologize for!!!!! Kinda was wondering where ya went!

Thanks Joel, stitch and John. I'm gonna try and get on here a little more frequently and maybe this weekend I can clean and reorganize my hobby room and work on something. I'd like to take part in the anniversary build, since it is my favorite subject lol.
I appreciate it guys, I've missed this place and the great people here.

I'll pray for you as well Dennis. Thanks, a lot of this started with my dad getting extremely sick but he's doing much better now and I still feel the same lol.

JB glad to here from you and like the others said no apologies needed I know I have been there myself a few times with depression , no fun  just keep in touch and before you know it you'll be back at it !! The plastic seems to always get me out of a slump , plastic addiction  |

Thanks Frank and Paul. I think I just need to force myself to clean up the hobby room and sling some styrene around to get myself out of this funk. You guys are helping me feel better as well lol.

Thats the spirit man! Reading what you have typed seems as it is helping, and like Paul said, the "Plastic Addiction" ALWAYS helps, I know, I been there too and focusing it on something you once enjoyed, brings it back, to enjoy again! Smell the glue and paint now, its got an aroma all of its own and will draw you right back in LOL |

hey there jb - I like you let down my secret santa as well. And I am sorry for this. How about we try to cheer each other up and do a build together.
Lets build our secret santas together now, we can start a thread here, then put the cars or whatever up in a finished category - whatcha think?
I need the kick in the ass start anyways - did some donating to the club, now its time I built something, and nothing would make me happier than to do along with you my friend!
