Are you building the Samford and son truck? I know you enjoy building Tv vehicles lol. Whatever your doing I'm sure it's going to be cool and can't wait to see what you come up with.

Great guess Mike! However this will not be a movie (or TV show) truck. Its something Ive been think about building this for about a year now and this is the perfect time to do it. Here's a few more pic.s!
I had this Remington .22 LR box laying around and I discovered that model glue works on it! so.... 
I cut it down to fit on the bed of the truck..oh, and the bed came from a much used and abused Dodge pickup because I liked the way the rear fenders looked much better that the original ones in the kit.
I did replace the grey bed with an equally abused red Dodge truck bed since the outside of the red one was in slightly better shape, and the inside would be hidden...
I did add a piece of styrene to the bottom to cover up the damaged bed when viewed from underneath.
Next I cut the bench seat down to make it into a single bucket seat. On the left is the material I cut out of the center of the seat.
And now the chassis is assembled and the body has it's first coat of primer. The model is starting to take shape...

Okay, I made a little progress so I thought I should post it to let everyone know I hadn't forgot. The chassis is about done:  Engine is about done:  Wheels are done with dog dish hubcaps and valve stems:  Body has it's first coat of white:  These are the first set of decals I ever ordered from Firebird Designs.
