I was made aware of this forum by Iceman on E-Bay. Many thanks to him, as it seems like a great forum! Osfusicator is a word my dad made up that describes someone who can inevitably delay the inevitable. I like the sound of it, so I have been using it as an on-line name. I have been building for over 30 years, but more collecting over the past 15 years. I am in remission from APL and I recently lost a good friend and fellow modeler in a tragic accident, so the reality of not enough time to build everything I have in my collection has set in. I decided to start downsizing (out of want and not need) and am selling away on E-Bay. More importantly though, I am looking forward to attempting to complete a kit a month long into the foreseeable future. Just finished a red 94 Ford Lightning last weekend, the first I have finished in 7 years. I decided to delete decals and leave the grill chrome for that "sleeper" look/affect. Especially love anything Pontiac both 1:25th and 1:1. Looking forward to being as active as possible on here (normally shy away from all things technology and the computer though), being a positive contributor to this forum, and also making some new friends. Here's to that great feeling one gets when one puts the finishing touches on a model and it is everything one dreamed and imagined it would be and there is no concern about perfection, just utter joy at getting another one done! welcome welcome fellow styrene addict! this is really a great place to hang out and talk/swap plastic. if building a model a month is your goal, then MOTM is right up yer alley then  the lightning looks great! and i HAVE to ask about your name...doya want us to just call you ofusicator or ?? i'm frank btw and once again welcome! |

Welcome from the other end of the world mate, a model a month is achievable i have found since joining this forum, as there is ALWAYS a build off going on,
which is a great motivator i find, and makes it easier to decide what your going to build.
I love it here, and hope you do too.

Glad you made it over, bud. I see you've received a warm welcome already as everyone does. That lightning sure looks great! Lots to see. Like Frank said, if you're looking for a little more push on completing models, our MOTM works as some nice pressure to finish off and enter into a friendly competition. Might be too late for this month. It if you enter the next one I'm sure you'll do great. Welcome! Looking forward to seeing more builds of yours move from the bench to the shelf.

Welcome aboard osfusicator! Friendly bunch here, ALL good people, all willing to help when needed and all interested in what the other is building!
so with that being said, grab a chair, have a seat, have a look around, ask questions if you need too, and post what ya got going on, or have done, either way thats the one thing WE ALL share in common, seeing what the other is up to, done or going to start.....
But most of all... ENJOY all of it! Thats what the hobby is all about!
