she was fast and good on gas and beat mot eight cylinders. I got three hunred thousang miles out of it the head gasket went after that many miles it would of never ran right again  |

I'm not big on Ford but I had a friend that had one of these too, and it went like hell and was good on gas, I'm not sure how long he had it I know at least 10 years, hell he may still have it!
I will say tho, I had an '87 Olds Cutlass, crashed it into a Jeep, and at the time it was 20 miles from 500,000 miles on a little Olds 3.8L "Buick" 231 CID, V-6, that got a factory "W package" in it. 310 HP at 2800 RPMs STOCK! GAWD I miss that car, so does the wife!
So yeah ari, I hear ya on liking the speed, and the fun of it,. I had a TON of fun in that Olds as I bet you did in the Probe!

The ford probe isn't a real ford, iy was a rebadged mazda which is probably why it lasted so long
