I'm looking for 69-70 chevy truck grill and snow tires. The grill can be painted and or beat up. I had a beat up 72 chevy 3/4 ton and I'm trying to recreate it the way it was.

The grill you're looking for is not easy to find and when you do find, be ready to pay a good $15-20 for it.
Is the Dukes of hazard tow truck a 69? Might be able to help if it is.

I've noticed it's hard to find for sure. I found one on ebay for $24.99 + 4.99 shipping. I paid $44 for the 72 kit and my wife rolled her eyes. She'd kill me if I bought that grill. I did a search this morning and found one at The Modelhaus w/shipping it would be $13.25. I think Cooters was a 72 but I'm not sure. I found snow tires on ebay as well $7.00 but they're resin. I've never used that before. It turns out model making isn't a cheap hobby. When I was a kid they were cheap and you could find them at almost all stores that had toys.

Yea, I really enjoy it. Even the wife likes it. She just hates that I've only built 2 so far. And have 12 waiting and keep buying more.

Rag soaked in lacquer thinner in a bag works too. Just don't drop it in a plastic bag, eats right through the plastic and drops out and you lose all the goodie.
