Guys, please don't take this the wrong way.....just something that crossed my mind and I couldn't answer it to myself (yeah I talk to myself sometimes) But only the administration can answer this one probably some members MIGHT know so....... Why is the club we're in called "Jerry's Cherry's" As Beat, nor Ice have the first name "Jerry"...........  ?? PLEASE, like I said, Its merely a question and I know (I think I do anyway the "Cherry's" part), but its just something I was wondering while working in the shop last night..... |

HaHa !!! Well my friend the answer is quite simple !! In the movie American Graffiti several times they reference a used car lot "Jerry's Cherrie's" You even see it several times in the movie. Our logo decals represent the car lot and the car lot as it is today is pictured and the very bottom of the home page.So that sir is how I came up with the name. My love affair with models and my infatuation with American Graffiti.
Reason ours is Cherrys and not Cherries because there is a porn site by that name and I didnt want to get you guys introuble with the wives and girlfriends !!!

I didn't remember that in AG till you mentioned it.. BUT now that you said it, yes, I do remember that car lot in the AG movie! BUT I got to admit, it has been YEARS (I bet damn near a decade) since I watched the movie! I laugh at the Cherries part you mentioned, due to my wife thinking it WAS a porn site LOL TOOO funny I told her yep. its porn alright, its CAR PORN, MODEL CARS to be exact.......  Needless to say she got over that pretty quick! BUT, "Cherry's" I took as a saying "that car is cherry" or in mine shape as all of us look at our model no matter how they're built are "cherry's in that same way, no matter if its a Rusty Rat Rod we built, or a show stopping STOCK version, or right to the SHOW CAR types......they're ALL Cherry's in our eyes, (the builders) so......... |

I don't think the porn site is operating right now. As I understand it Ben and Jerry's ice cream Co. has a law suit against them for copyright infringement and they are shut down.
