I'm trying to figure out how to make a set of racing harnesses and can't seem to figure it out. has anyone here made there own? If so what did you use? I can't seem to find anything that looks correct. It's starting to drive me crazy..lol.
Thanks Gary

Gary, i have used thin ribbon from a craft shop a couple of times, and shape out a piece of plastic and stick on the ends to simulate the buckles etc, they do make photo etched harness buckles, but i can not even see them, let alone assemble them. VERY FIDDLY MATE. cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon

Thanks deecee, I hadn't even thought about using ribbon. I'll have to look around the house and see what I can find.

Colored masking tape, black or red etc, also works. They make nice cheap ribbon already cut to size that works very well. You can see some on the air cleaner and fan belt here. This is a 1/12 scale build but it is the same size for seat belts on a smaller scale car. Comes in all kinds of colors. jerryscherrys.freeforums.net/thread/2955/1-12-fiat-dragster

Both of these are excellent ways to make seat belts. I use ribbon..If you have a craft store local, (MICHAELS or HOBBY LOBBY, even WAL MART) in the sewing dept they have ribbons that are almost perfectly scaled to models. And the color choices are endless.. Rick
