I'm all about "Dodge" and even "Mopar" BUT, THEY should HAVE left the front end the hell alone! THAT is just a Charger "body" with a Fiat front end, like the new "Dart" thats no damn Dart..........WHY they have to always change things is beyond me, BUT damn it anyway!
Like the power, but the looks alone deter me on it. and that my friends is YES ole Hemi BASHING Mopar!
They go and mess with the "looks" of the Challenger..... and ole John won't be but an old school Hemi and or Mopar guy!

I'm afraid that's not the worlds fastest family car, the MTM division of audi have held that honour since the early 2000's, but it is the fastest US family car. Some stats for you, www.topspeed.com/cars/audi/2013-audi-rs6-avant-by-mtm-ar161226.html but that's an old one and the one coming next is going to p**s all over the hellcat, with the bonus of going around corners, lol. and it only uses a 4 litre engine. It's the same car that the bike couldn't catch in a previous post

Stitch that may be true, BUT at the ratings it has will it MEET the Omission ratings for the USA? The Hellcat does! And as its said, it will meet that standard in the USA for the next 3 following years for the omission controls that have been put into place, I'm not sure of this on the Audi! SO, thats to say I may learn something here..... Besides that, I do not BELIVE that Mopar's "proposed" horsepower rating of the Hellcat is actually 707 HP......To "odd" of a number, for one, and 2, the insurance rates for that car is insane two......They "list" HP as low as they can get away with but high enough to put a chock hold on the competition, so....... I'm actually saying that car BEFORE application consumption of HP its near 1,000 ponies! How do I know this? Well, I'll tell you how, and why...... I worked in a garage, and have built a number of engines.....I took one in particular, what one is that? What engine do I know the best? Mopar's 426 Hemi...... a 1966 street 426 Hemi out of a '66 Charger, STOCK, unscathed in any way, all it had done to it over time was plugs, oil oil filter wires, and fuel filter, ALL Mopar brand replacement parts from the original.....Car had something like 62,000 miles on it. OK? This engine? was stated to have 425 HP, and 490 ft. lbs torque......FACTORY written specs on the engine. The garage owner's brother had a dyno, a early model digital one, all computerized, OK? We pulled the motor, changed oil, left EVERYTHING else along even the original dual Carter carburetors on the thing......Got it on the dyno, and that 425 HP was a load of CRAP......At 5,000 RPM's that engine was putting out 638 HP, 672 ft. lbs torque STOCK! It was putting out something stupid at 2,000 RPM which is car to speed, RPM's, it was doing 496 HP and I forget something like 555 foot pounds of torque.....SO that being said, makes me question Mopar......they say "707" for the Hellcat, but what is it really? TILL someone gets a hold of one and tests it, for themself, STOCK we won't know the real truth till then! I just know, that the omissions testing is done by our very own government so...... Just makes me wonder what the real truth is on the Hellcat it is no less some motor and it can have a BUNCH MORE done to it to increase there said "707" HP too! I gotta say, I'd love to be the guy to find out with papers to prove it evil5 SICK I know it... but I love it!

WM its not a "true" Barracuda tho...... its just a grille fitted to the new Challenger! It right now is just an aftermarket part to fit the existing car body!
