I too am tuned in on progress to this resto.... Have an engine planned for that ride? Dennis, The rotisserie sure makes my life & my old back happy! As for power , I am at the crossroads. My old school heart wants a warmed over 350 c.i./ 410 hp-440 ft / lbs torque. My head is saying LS power, LS3 - 376 c.i./ 430 hp-480 ft/lbs torque. I have a brand new M22 ready, so that is the old school in the equation. I will be doing complete new floor pan within the next month, and then from there it will 2 new quarter panels. Body & paint..then assembly. Front suspension is a T.C.I. clip with coil overs. I will post pix as I progress. Here is a link to the story..http://s1239.photobucket.com/user/goodguy56/slideshow/67%20Chevy%20II%20%20THE%20BUILD%20BEGINS%20FROM%20START%20TO%20FINISH Thanks for checking out my ADDICTION! 8-)Rick

Rick, THATS a great idea with the LS power, BUT the real question is, will it all "fit" or will you be shoe-horning? I'm almost positive that the 350 will fit without issue, Turbo 400 backing the 350? yes/no? BE SURE to post what your plans come to be as far as engine! I've restored a Chevy II some time ago, and they put a 409 in it... So, This sparks some of my old car resto. interest......

Great start on that good old Chevy II there Rick. Looks like you know what you're doing also. That TCI clip is the sure way to go. Like the idea of an LS engine or even an LS based truck engine too. My good buddy here at home just finished his '66 Chevy II wagon about a year ago. He did the TCI clip and put a 5.3 truck engine and trans in his. He loves it. It's his daily driver now.
