Frank I tell ya I PLAN to make a MONSTER General.. just NOT in truck form LOL I plan mine to be as they would have truly had it, a '69 Charger General Lee....Hell bent for leather.... Just the opposite from what Dale you see would do, going in the other direction away from mother earth. BUT that too, I'd like to do one LIKE Dale's style getting down with mother earth too! ALL in "General Lee" livery Twisted I am but I LOVE the General, any way you serve that '69 Charger up as a car... That Orange paint looks GREAT on that truck I have to say...... two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

thank you Dale ever see the episode where they made the general an off-roader? I'm not Dale, BUT, I recall bits and pieces of that episode where the General was an off-roader, I'd like to see that in pics to try and replicate something close to it!! Good call Frank on that one! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Nicely done Frank. I watched some of the builds happening on facebook. There seemed to be a lot of you throwing glue all weekend.

I'm on facebook (altho the wife is) I wasn't part of that glue slinging activity on facebook, BUT I was slinging glue no less! I got to much going on with the forums here to waste time on facebook, so..besides this is plenty of fulfillment for me as far as online chat and talks on models so......Any more be a waste of good modeling time!

One hell of a cool build Frank. You sure do a good job building these. I belong to FB but don't go there much. I didn't know there were model groups. How do I find them? A friend I was in the Army with who lives in Alaska found me on FB and came down from Alaska two yrs in a row to visit me. For a guy who can count his friends on one hand [by choice] it was a big deal for me. I hadn't seen him or heard from him in 30 years. He said he had been looking for me for yrs and then facebook and bang.

Denny, I STILL say, our friend Frank here is in da closet Mopar guy..............LOTS of Mopar builds, BIG ones, for a so-called Chevy guy LOL Sorry Frank, I had too you make it to easy! LOL poke I'm still envious and somewhat jealous of this Dodge Monster truck, (I had one and DAMN they nice models!) AND to add to it, its the same year as the step-side bed version I once owned a '78.........My Dad had a '78 AND a '79, BOTH straight beds so he had a bigger truck. Come to think of it, ALL the trucks I have EVER owned have been Dodge, NOTHING newer then a '79, And ALL of them step-side beds! Crap, my truck now is a Step-Side bed Power Wagon!

Thank you Frank. The second and third one are the same, are they supposed to be? Just model car groups I guess or places to get parts. I mainly want to look at what others are doing, although I am always wanting parts. Building in here is all I can handle. If I was young and strong again it would be different.

I'll have to see if I can find them again. From what I remember there were ones for most manufacturers. I think they were in one of my dad's ald cb books but I could be wrong.
