Thanks for the add. Came across this forum while looking through Model Cars Magazine's information. I'm a builder returning after a long absence from the hobby/craft. Currently working on two 1/8 Pocher 1931 Alfa Romeos (you may have seen in-progress pix of them on other forums and Facebook. Inching forward while trying fix the bad stuff that comes with vintage Pocher kits and scratch-building parts to make it look more authentic (although the rivet counters will probably find issues). Looking forward to checking out everyone's work and getting input on mine. Cheers, Gordon

Welcome aboard Gordon! Friendly bunch here, and best of all? WE ALL ENJOY it, each others time, and even the crits, you know? Its all good work ethic on the models.....ALL done in a friendly way too!!!!
Have a look around, ask questions someone will help, knowledgeable bunch of model builders here....Post pics of your work (we ALL LOVE seeing what the other has done or is attempting to do..
Best Model Club I've been a part of in a long time! BUT the main thing? HAVE FUN DOING whatever you wish to on any one given model you plan to build! just be sure to post pics of what your doing!

Welcome Gordon. No need to worry about rivet counters on here, if we catch one we smack their knuckles with a steel ruler.
We all like to challenge each other here with our builds, but it's more about having fun and learning from each other.
Settle in and show us what you've been building. Most of all make some new friends.

I suppose I am a rivet counter......... to an extent, when a Hemi is in it, BUT otherwise, I'm not a rivet counter, Heck, I'm gonna be using Ford front 4x4 suspension on a Dodge truck I'm gonna be building that was originally a 2x4 truck...... I just LOVE the Hemi engine more specifically the Mopar versions but, thats just me....(I used to work on the real 1:1's) so.... So Doc, and Dale, I suppose that truly does make me a rivet counter.. a "Hemi rivet counter"  evil6 |
