I have two of them and every body is right. They do work great. Another thing I do is drop 3 or 4 BB's in every bottle of paint I get. Makes them like a miniature rattle can and mixes them great. Every once in a while if I see one that I know has been sitting a while I can give it a shake until I hear the BB's moving good. Paint doesn't dry out or get nasty in the bottle.

Just curious, copper (Daisy) BB's, or some type of stainless steel balls ? I used to do the BB thing a long time ago, forgot about it. But I was always worried it would mess with the chemical integrity of the paint itself. (the copper might effect it somehow) I dunno, maybe I just worry too much lol !

I use BB's that look chrome, I don't know what they are actually made of but I'll look on the box. I have been doing it for years in all types of paint, enamel, lacquer, and acrylic with never a problem.

I use wrist rocket BB's they're 1/4 inch diameter and don't change lighter colors from the Copper being in the paint (I found that copper changes light colors of enamels) So, I use the stainless 1/4 inch wrist rocket BB's....
They also don't tend to stick in the pigment in the bottom of the paint once it sits for a short while either.....

When ever i finish off a can of paint, i split it open and get the BB out, and put it in a jar of paint, as others have said, with a good shake, it helps mix it better.

I used to work in a place where we used many, many cans of paint every day and I would split open the empty's and save the ball. I had a huge collection of them and some of them were really interesting. They are not all the same. Different brands use different things. Cat eye marbles, clear glass, smoked glass, steel, multi-colored designs, some are really cool.
