That is a very unusual process, have never seen that done before mate, great effort, do you now paint over the cloth then??

Yep that's the idea should look ok its very fine weave (its actually the bottoms of a pair of the missus bikini, so we'll keep that quiet. It was the finest piece of cloth I could find. She's got so many she won't notice one missing --- gulp I hope.

Ah man this is coming along nicely. I picked up a part built one of these last week but it's no where near this level.

Thanks I have to say I am disappointed its not turning out anywhere near as good as I want, I can't see my boss paying good money for it it just all seems a bit shoddy.

Must agree i think, strip the body, and just go with paint, as the amount of detail you have put in, it would be a shame not to finish it off nicely mate, and BAM, your back in the good books with the boss.

Hi all not much of an update (these wheels I wish I hadn't started, still I'm getting better with each one, By the time I've done the last one I will be pretty good at it). Just to show I am still working on it.

That looks pretty damn sweet, and a top job on all that engine weathering too, it would not be british with out fluid leaks..

Kp, It's a very good build of a very good model and you did a fine job. If you were satisfied with it you wouldn't be a seriously good model builder always striving to be better, which you are. You would be a limited builder and not really trying to improve much. I have a lot to learn but I have improved a great deal from where I started and I am never satisfied with anything I build. It's a good thing and you should look at it that way. That's why each one you build is a little better than the last one.
