You know those V-16 Cadillacs that Jo-Han made, I have them all and a couple Italiari, anyway my dad owned one of those and the darndest thing with it was when you started it up only one bank of cylinders, I think the left, would start and it would sit there and rumble and run rough and then the right bank would kick in and it would smooth out and purr. Wasn't a real speedy car but God almighty it was powerful. You could pull stumps with it.

I agree with Jesse, these are great looking cars no matter how they are done. I would be having a hard time deciding between your two choices.

Thanks guys. I am having a hard time, Skip. Don't build low riders as often anymore but a chopped coupe would definitely look good too. Hmmm......

Oooh a convertible. Ah so many options. Why don't you just build the thing the way you like it Killer? If you are tired of lowriders, put one of those gorgeous paint jobs of yours on it, massive detailed engine in it, big slicks, pipes going every which-a-way and drop it down to the pavement. Build it the way you would like to and don't worry about Santa Claus. I'll back you up. high-five-smiley-emoticon

Ice, I OWN a REAL one! need pics? You own a real one what? Coupe like this??? Oh man, how good does it get!!!!!!!! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon Denny, yepper, I inherited a real 1:1 '39 Chevy business coupe! It was my Dad's......I plan to keep it as he had it and continue its up keep and hopefully pass that 80+ year old car onto my daughter some day! The hard and sad part is saying its "mine".... because I inherited it from my Dad passing last March! Car was built by him has a blueprinted Chevy small block 307, that came from a '70 Chevell SS (I'm NOT sure the engine was in that car factory,) BUT it sure makes the ole '39 go like a bat outta hell! The engine is backed by a GM Turbo400 Transmission.....With a 9 inch Ford rear. NOT sure of the gearing in it.....I have pics of it under "My 1:1's" thread where that is! Along with my Truck and the wifes car (also mine but its hers!)

Thanks for letting me know. I renamed the album in PB so it removed the pic. I can't wait to start posting pics on his one. Between this one, the 50s build and the muscle car MOTM, I have my hands full at the moment.
