Man, more power to ya Frank. I am sure I couldn't pull off a 24hr build unless maybe it was a Zinger or something like that.

That's cool. I've always wondered if I'd be able to hang. Maybe next year we can see if there's interest here.
Good luck frank and show us your final product. After you get rest I'm sure. Lol

I think I put a snap kit together in 24 hrs once but I wouldn't bet on it. As I've said before, what you guy's can do with a model amazes me. You're doing good work here Frank.

thanks guys! the short time frame is the reason i choose kits i'm quite familiar with and use as much flat/satin paint as possible, plus this is the only instance where i paint the body first thing.

Frank, I know this is gonna sound dumb, (possibly is to some extent) BUT, "Why, build off in 24 hours"? Whats the reason behind it?

Frank, I know this is gonna sound dumb, (possibly is to some extent) BUT, "Why, build off in 24 hours"? Whats the reason behind it? I think it is also a challenge to see just how much coffee it takes to stay awake for 24 hrs and still be able to build.

I could do it but keeping my mind set into a tunnel vision mode to just build something right to completion might have my eyes crossed by the 20th hour! ALL the coffee tho, sounds GOOD!

ya know John, i'm not sure what the original reason this was started. for me it's just fun to pull an all-niter once a year. and my mistake, it's the 25-26 of Jan not this weekend. yeah Dale, it does take a bit of coffee these days to keep these old-ish eyes open.

Anybody can take time to do a great build but can you do it in 24 hrs? And how good will it look? I think that's the challenge itself. Many clubs do this for fun. I've wanted to try this but just never have the time when they're set up.
