A new project kinda being built in the back ground of everything else, a simple, Parma Models 1/10th scale 426 Hemi, thats Super charged to be a model of the engine Don Garlits first used when the 426 came out for top fuel drag racing..... This model, was a gift, and I don't even know who from, so if that person is reading this, THANK YOU....I had 2 of these and lost both when my homeplace burned to the ground. I know and have excepted that I'd never find replacements, this is a true Christmas gift, as its not something I sat out to find and yet, one just shows up on my door step, no return address, no note BUT a tag inside the small box that said "Merry Christmas, John" thats it! Have no idea who sent it, but if your reading this, THANK YOU! And just to show the shear size of this Hemi, that blue one is one of MY CASTINGS of a small block Mopar a 318, 340 or could be a 360....STILL in 1/25th they aren't that small really, BUT this blown 425 Hemi at 1/10th scale is HUGE! AND its detailed, VERY nicely! Been slowly adding parts as I'm able, as this engine will be displayed with a "Engine Display" I have planned to build as engine building anddetailing are what I enjoy most of all!

Thanks Denny, I got a ways on it between waiting for things to dry on other builds so..... Needless to say, I got some updating to do with the camera.....
NOT completed but.....Close!
EDIT:
This will be thee ONLY "engine model" I did NOT modify ANYTHING on it, one, I have no "extra parts" for it, and 2, its a collectable model of the 426 Hemi that Don Garlits used in top-fuel drag racing...sat a bunch of records with it!

OK a bit of an update, (I have to say Dennis reminded me of this one!) It was sitting wit the following done: Since my last posting of this one (I been working on it between times waiting for things to become able to work on with my '57 300 build.....SO, I got the plug wire "boots" painted, in the valve covers, added the wire stress relief to each one, and then got the front of the engine about done, the pulleys and a REAL BELT on the pulleys, I have yet to add the fuel pump, and the water cross over lines from the heads and a few other smaller details as well as an oil pump and filter, and then its off to the top of the engine as I got the injectors in place, I have to fit the lines to them, and the throttle linkages and all that as well. I got to add the starter here, and on both pictures in the post so far, I also got the oil fill caps one for each valve cover. Top view....NICELY detailed, but it is after all 1/10th scale! More to come when I can and more is done! I got the line work to do from one place to another and then the blower hat and all the linkages to it so.....Last thing will be the Zoomie headers......
