Where the heck did 2014 go? It went by so fast! It feels like I haven't build enough this year!
With that being said, this coming weekend we are going to have the end of year polls. Wanted to give you a heads up so you guys can keep an eye out for them. For MOTY, we will put together all contest winners from MOTM, eBay challenge II, Decades contest, etc and decide on one winner to be knows as the 2014 MOTY. Since there will be so many entries, you will be allowed to pick your top three.
For the Bracket winners, Beast will create a bracket for the 12 months and begin those races for a Bracket Wnner of the Year.
It's not going to be easy, I tell you, but it is sure going to be fun. the winner of all winners!
Winners will get 2 kits and a few detailing parts as prizes. (Random parts, Hemi, in case youre going to ask, lol) Their kit picture will also be used for the MOTM and Bracket icons for 2015 and will showcase it on top for a month or so.
There is not action needed on your part to enter because we will use the pics that have been posted throughout the year.
The only thing you need to worry about will be voting. So keep an eye out for them. I will send out en ameil to all members when they are ready.
Good luck to all!
Cheezy line: Whether you're in this contest or not, you're all winners in my book!

This year did seem to go by fast. I know I didn't get near the amount of builds done that I had wanted to. In fact I think I have 3 or 4 that I started and didn't get finished. The end of the year polls are going to be brutal. There were top notch builds and winners every month in both MOTM and the brackets, as well as the few special contests.

It did fly by...... I mean crap I thought 2013 was a blurr due to my surgery...HELL, At least I remember 2014!!!! Thats more then I can say for 2013!
But it was GREAT finding this forum and club, I love this place, and to that, it motivates me even tho I'm still at a snails pace, I am enjoying it....
All you guys are great!
And to add to that all? I got one model done.... and WON! jaw-dropping-smiley-emoticon That in itself is something for me, I haven't entered a model in a contest, in 26 years you guys! I really never thought I'd win... BUT, thats what places as good as this does to those of us too! AND that isn't a bad thing, not at all!
Then you all have to admit, look who's responsible for it all? Joel and David, if it wasn't for those 2, would we all "know" each other as we do, or have brought us together as a sort of modeling family?
THANK YOU GUYS! Thats what its all about, right there, a friendly place to go, and be what we all like to be, for me? I LOVE building engines, (I know a few here can jump right in, they too) but others like exterior work those guys know who they are, and so on and so forth. We all have a niche....Stages a GREAT place to be, those of us that lack. (Me) on interior work, thats where the other pick up the pace and Help to teach me new tricks! Ice for instance, He's helped me in a way on flocking and to see the difference from embossing powder to Flocking.... FREE, did he have to? HELL no he didn't, but he did!
David, I had asked about a sheet of decals he used on one of his cars, not long after I joined, I thought I'd owe him a couple dollars for them, turns out he mailed a sheet of them to me and was like, don't worry about it.....I don't know why, but he too, didn't have to do that! Thisi s the sort of thing that makes people come back and enjoy there stay.........
Then thats where the rest of us come in......To keep those new members interest!
I myself, think we all do pretty good, keeping one and others interest....

I have to agree with everything that has been said by everyone up above. So much inspiration for the eyes and support for the building that you dont seem to get anywhere else. Myself I got loads of tips on other ways to make filler that are helping with one build that I would never have attempted before finding this site, and on top of that the encouragement to carry on with it. Congratulations to GrandpaBeast and Iceman for a great site that I hope continues to grow. The competitions are well thought out, and the builds just blow me away everytime.

Thanks David. And thank to all of you guys as well. Some of you jumped right on board when we invited you and have seen everything we all accomplished. While Beast and I to the admin work for the club, all of you guys are the ones that help keep this place alive, with your humor, your help and suggestions and especially your builds. Don't stop sharing, as beast and I will not stop supporting you with all of your ideas, suggestion and ways to continue to improve.
