so here it is the start of one of the new projects   so iam going for the beetle rod style on this one first job was to cut off the fenders and that took a long time to do   this is a far as i have got on this |

I have seen a lot of awesome Volks Rods over the years at car shows, and am looking forward to seeing where you go with it .

Not normally into the whole "Bug" car from VW, BUT. I am a fan of Herbie!  VERY interested to see where ya go with it having said that! |

a little update i have painted the body a rust color and then i shall spray the undercoat and color on the body and chass. i have also tryed to smooth out the front inner arch with putty engine is on the way coming on well needs detailing up    |

Good start. Rust colored primer or flat is always a good base for any hot rod. If paint messes up along the way, it can always become a rust bucket. Lol

I mixed the paint my self using acrylic paint and now I have primed the body will post more soon

all work in the uk has come to a hault of late weather has been far too bad to do anything .
but setting up a work room as i need to store my stuff away from little hands as we now have a little one on the way
