Very nice Iceman, very nice. Nice touch with the bed cover. Engine came out very well and the wheels are just right for this build. Slick clean paint job. I always have trouble with fingerprints on black also. Coating it with Novus 1 and buffing it can help. Rubbing compound and a wax job helps also.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments. Not sure I'll be doing gloss black again too soon. At least not this brand of paint.

Thanks John. What black? Lol. I stand by these products. The cheap Walmart gloss black brand is what I used here. Automotive clear and finally a coat of Rustoleum clear.

Thats Wally-World "Color Place" gloss black? YOU DONE WELL SIR! That gloss black from Wally-World is a PITA to get to lay smooth, I hate the stuff, been spraying gloss black now from Testors from thee ole air brush. Don't care for gloss black from a can anymore..... BUT I do use Color Place paint! Don't get me wrong, it has its uses.... just for whatever reason that black of theirs SUCKS! Almost like it has to much thinner in it to give a good coat of black pigment. I don't know, I just know it SUCKS to work with!
Why? what other glass black did you use on this model other then the Color Place stuff?

Just Walmart black. I've never had problems with.you do have to keep shaking the can ever few sprays though but I even use it as base for some of my chroming because it sets so well.
Thanks mad

So very cool Ice. Turned out awesome. I have problems with black every time I use it. Have a few builds that I would like to do gloss black, but just haven't found a brand or way to spray it out the way I want it to yet.
