Themes for future Anniversary Contests
2015 - Hot Rod / Rat Rod - my definition of Hot Rod is any vehicle pre 1960 ( after 1961 I say they are Street Rods or Street Machines ) that has been modified for speed.Hot Rods are typically older classic American made cars the have been rebuilt, modified or altered to enhance looks and achieve speed. My definition of Rat Rod is same as that of Hot Rod, pre 1960 built on a low budget, traditional to the 30's. 40's and 50's, rusty and/ or patina and some what thrown together.
2016 - Wagons - You can use any wagon kit building it from the box or use the roof to create and factory car that was never produced as a kit. Also if you choose to be creative , design your own wagon by putting the roof on say a Camero or Mustang or a Cuda. As long as in the end it is a two door or four door station wagon your good.
2017 - Pro Street - The theme definition is any year vehicle that utilizes a narrowed rear end and steam roller rear tires. You can use a pro stock chassis or a pro street chassis. You can back half the original frame or build your own. Any motor combo, with or without roll cage dosent matter, but it must be street legal. Head lights , tail lights, exhaust and interior. If you dont show these things in your pictures then you will not be part of the vote.
2018 - Concept Vehicle - Any year any make any model , you get to decide. You make up a back ground story and you the designer get to Unvail your car ! Some examples or suggestions might be a four door Mustang or Camero, a shortened two seat Roadrunner , a nuclear powered Volkswagen ! And here it is for year yeta yeta the new ,,,, Whatever you call it !!
2019 - Gasser - Any year any make any model - this is the street freak category ! Everything about these cars is wild and outrageous ! Wild motors, wild paint, wild pipes. The only rule to this theme is that it must have a straight axle front end. Build yours for street or drag doesnt matter but must have straight axle !
2020 - Apocalyptic Vehicle - Perfect year for this theme! Think Mad Max ! Think Road Warrior ! Think Death Race 2000 ( the original not the remake ok they are both good but check out the original with David Carradin and Sylvester Stallone ) Build it to survive the Zombie Apocalypse or just a drive to WalMart !
Ok there they are, build all now if you want just take the pictures and save them dont show them till the year of that contest.
