thank you Paul John, that sounds like a great idea! not feasible at this time due to lack of materials and funding for materials

IF I knew the size of the gauges in that dash, I could make them, BUT that also depends on how soon you need/want them! BUT, would make that nice polished "rim" for the gauge, you would have to add your own lens and then a decal behind it.....

So Frank, let me get this straight....
You take the bare "dash".. leave it alone, BMF over the thing, and then paint it....
WHEN the paint is dry, you take and remove ONLY the paint around the areas? With a Q-tip wetted NOT soaked in thinner, or am I missing what you have done here?

WOW!!! That dash looks really good. I just learned a trick and a really good one too! Thanks Dale and Frank. You take the paint off the BMF while it is still wet, is that right?

I've had a few of that set. If you need parts I have a pile of parts I dont need. Mostly engine and interior parts like beds and tvs for truck sleepers. possibly a cb too

There's some really nice stuff in that set. Italeri makes nice models and model products IMO.

Thanks Frank. That's an amazing site. I never knew anything like that existed. Lot of things I can use and they have so many different items. I like those scroll work decals. I bookmarked it. Don't worry about your MOTM build in the background. I won't say anything. road-rage-smiley-emoticon
