A lot of changing my mind on this one along the way. It's finally done though. No work truck. I think Tom mentioned something that kind of fit the bill. It was like a Fast & Loud episode. Started with it, painted it, painted it some more. Thought about using it for a work truck but once I started with the different layers of paint and the weathering it seem to work itself out. Just a plain 1953 Ford pickup. Patina everywhere sanded and cleared semi matte. Bed restored and a nice little engine to get where you need to be on time. New bumpers and wheels.

I would say this is pretty close to flawless Iceman. Fine weathering job, great bed, and God I love that engine. The green wheels kinda stick me in the eye but that's because I don't like green but who cares about that! Real fine job son!

I'm happy with it. I saw them green wheels like this on an old truck somewhere and I thought they'd fit. Looks good I think.

Love the whole "sleeper" look about it. Looks like just an old beater, but mess with it on the street and it will eat your lunch.
