I've just been trawling the net and found a car I had never heard of at the sema show. It was called the black marlin and I was just wondering what manufacturer made them.

Has a '66 to '67 Charger feel to it too as it looks as the rear body panels were just reformed versions from the Charger! Even tho maybe the rear of the Charger was a massaged version of this! Think about it n later years Chrysler got AMC anyway.....
EDIT: I suppose it be all in the year of manufacturer too. as it sounds the car seen here was earlier then the first Charger...

I thought it was an older model charger/early barraccuda? when I first saw the roofline. I thought it was maybe a custom front on one of those but then I read it was rare, but none of the blogs said the manufacturer. Bit of an oversight on their part, but I had you guys to help. Nice to see something thats not a dukes shape charger, mustang or camaro being done though. Now I just need to do some more looking for more pics. My photo collection from the net runs to over 60'ooo cars and trucks from all around the world and every one of them is customised and sorted into folders by country, manufacturer and model. About half of them are VW's and related companies but my US folder is growing fast and my Japanese folder has some wild stuff.

Dennis, the car you posted is Javelin. Same make different model. Still a very cool car though and that's gotta be worth some bucks!

JB, That's it Javelin. I recognized it but couldn't remember the name. I just got this kit in the mail today. Cost me $24.00 FS and I thought it was high. I never saw it before and thought it would be cool to build. I bought an AMC Concord off the show room floor one time and it was the worst car I ever owned. Never did run right and they never did find what was wrong with it. I was so happy when I finally got rid of that thing.

Ah dude that is a really cool car, it looks like a fun build. I love to see something unusual, instead of the usual muscle cars( nothing wrong with them, just too many) and being othe rside of the pond I don't see them that often. You guy's get cars I would never see unless its a cobra and to me they are dull. the odd/unusual just have so much more style about them.
