You know it - magnification needed on my end as well!! LOL I think I like the third brake lite, all newer vehicles have them anyways, seem to fit nicely
Well done sir - VERY NICE BUILD!! Thanks Coyote! I appreciate that! I'm not satisfied with the paint. I had a an area that sagged on me and the orange peel is a bit much, I also was a little uneven on the hood and roof. I think we are always our own harshest critic. My next build is going to be an Aston Martin DBS Carbon Black edition with several bells and whistles along with the kit. I also have a donor R32 kit that is going to be used in a future build that I can use the body to practice on. Mostly likely what I'll do is prime it and paint it, then practice wet sanding it so that any mistakes can be made on a car i do not intend to build. Aside from that, I need to plan the build a little better. I should have glued the wing on before I painted the car -the glue is very noticeable. It just boils down to practice and experience. I remember when I was doing WWII German Armor, my first model looked just that, my first model. After seeing my later builds, I noticed the improvement. So hopefully, this is the same. I can look back at this car and it will serve as a baseline of my modelling skills and demonstrate how far I may grow in the future.

For sure, glue any wings / spoilers on before the final painting, I always do, plus it helps them to stay there! I used to glue them on after paint, and then one day you pull the build down to look at something you did, and plop, it would always fall off. GRRRRRRR
Iceman told me about using plain old, cheapo Walmart flat white and gray as a primer base, and man was he right. This stuff lays nice, dries quick, and really helps the final paint adhere nicely.

this really looking good! dont ya just hate how dog hair gets everywhere? I know what you mean! Jack is a house dog, paper trained and the whole bit, but no matter how I try whenever I go somewhere somebody always asks "Do you have a dog?" because of the dog hair on me. This build is really coming along very good. Anxious to see it finished. Looks real good bud!
