Thanks to Joel for directing me here. My name is Dave. I haven't built a model in nearly 50 years but the mailman should be delivering 3 to my door tomorrow. I am 64 years young and looking forward to learning a lot from you guys. I will probably have lots of questions as I have been gathering all the information that I can for the last few weeks. I am determined to build these kits well. My preference is for the classics of the 4-'s and 50's. Thanks for having me.

Glad you made it over, Dave. I think you're in the right place. I'm interested in seeing your planned projects. Let us know what questions you may have and I'm sure someone here will step up to answer.

Welcome Dave. I'm fairly new here too and I think you'll find it a friendly place. I have actually visited tennessee once and I thought it was a beautiful place. The highlight for me was finding a scrapyard/breakers full of old hearses though. Never seen anything like it before or since. Hope you enjoy being here

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. My first 3 kits arrive tomorrow. I got the Moebius 55 Chrysler, 56 Chrysler 300b and the 53 Hudson Hornet. I will be spray painting initially but want to get an air brush and compressor. I am really having a hard time regarding the compressor. I will be running it in the basement and I share that hobby area with my bride. I don't want anything so noisy that it will run her out. Recommendations would be appreciated. I am leaning toward either the Badger Aspire Pro or the Paasche 3000r. I am pretty sure I want the Patriot 105 for my brush. But... I know so little about these things that I will entertain most any suggestion.
