yup I can't wait to see how you IMPROVE on this kit, I tried to bui.ld it once and The chassis is so simple and it sat way to high in the rear, but you are the king of conversion, so I am sure you will modify it to be much better.

I saw one of these at a vintage car show a couple of years back. The guy did it in this bright purple metal flake finish with kind of a yellowy green detailing. I know it sounds horrid, but it actually looked very cool.

You could go minimalist and do deep gloss black with either gold or silver pinstriping. And you could do some kind of really unique design on the upper side panels in back.

Looking good there. I can't do all the fine detail lettering on tires anymore. My hands just shake too much. I have enough trouble with fan belts and such.. lol

Great to see the progress everyone's making with their build for this contest. I wanted to ask all of you to NOT reveal your finished product. Find a stopping point where you can stop sharing progress pics. I think it'll be a bit more exciting when the polls are up and we see each other's masterpieces. As soon as you finish, just post "BUILD COMPLETE". And send me the pics. Once I get everyone's finished pics or the deadline comes, whichever happens first, I will set up the poll.
Reminder: deadline is September 31st
