Mike the wooden sides with the wooden trim looks GREAT, what ya use to get it to look like that? I find it difficult to tell exactly but it sure doesn't look like paint, if it is, WOW!

I don't know why the chassis should up a gold color but its silver. And as far as the wood look its pretty much just wood decal's

Its probably just my phone screen lol. I couldn't tell if it was silver or if it was a pewter/goldish color.

That hitch I got off you work's perfectly up under this car this one should be done next weekend then on to the boat

Hello, I'm building a Merc wagon also. Mine is a resin body I bought on E-Bay. No hood or anything, just the body. I have parts from the 49 Merc Coupe, but the hood is too narrow. Just a little gap on each side. Not too bad. Windows, interior & all chrome fit fine. I made a sunvisor from an old windshield. woodgrain is all decals ( A Pain ) I painted like the photo on the kit box, light yellow. If you don't get too close it looks pretty good for me. I like your choice of colors. Post some pics when your done G-Paw ( Phil Sera )

Yeah, I know that feeling I got a boat to add to one of my builds and a clear display trailer as well. NOT sure where either is gonna be hitched too yet......
Can't wait to see what ya do with it!
