My newest build it's going to be a 2 part build 1st the wagon then a boat behind it. The boat and body color of the car will be same.  here is the boat kit.  got the wagon in primer so far.  |

Okay last night I painted the wood trim in a light brown color this morning I got the body color put on it.  |

I'm not sure how wide the frame is on that Merc, is it the same as the regular revell chopped Merc?
I have 2 hitches that fit a Revell '50 F1 and 2 that fit a Revell '48 woody.

That would be sweet what would you want for one? And as far as I can tell it's the same frame as the chopped 49 mercury kit.

Well got the body painted the wood trim done and the wood inserts in place just need to let it set and fully dry now. Start on the rest of it next weekend. I honestly think this is going to be a really great model.  |

If I could get the wood to look that great, I'd build a few woodies lol. Great job Mike! I will check the hitches to the chopped merc frame to make sure it'll work, if it will you can just have one of them!

Oh man that it just to cool of you. I just looked through most of my other kit's that I thought might have a hitch and I didn't get lucky at all. But the wood grain on this kit was really easy. I just sprayed a light tan for my framing then used the decal's that came with the kit.

Honestly these was very very easy the spots where they went on the body. The outline or trim of the wood set's higher then where the decals go.

Ok, another quick question. Does that visor fit the chopped revell merc well? I have a chopped on that I bought years ago when they were first released and I'm thinking it needs completed lol. One of those visors, if it will fit well, might just have to fin its way onto my car.
