I built these Jo-Han Cadillac's back when I started modeling again as a tribute to my dad. He owned a matched pair just like these. He drove one and my mom drove the other. When I look at them I can see him polishing his car. He had them reupholstered in genuine black and white leather with gold trim and kept them both in show room condition. We had a mechanic in our little town that was known for miles around as being top notch and he kept them in top order mechanically. Somebody I didn't even know came to our house one time and just suddenly grabbed one off the shelf and dropped it and pieces went everywhere. Took me a while to get it back together. I apologize for the pics, there not very good.

NICE you done here with the 2 Caddy's that I'm doing with a few of the models I have planned to build.. Taking model cars or trucks that a family member had and putting the memories with it....I'm doing that with quite a few cars and a few trucks I'm building....

NICE story tho, to go along with the models! I on the other side of that is trying to put together the collection of the Dukes of Hazard cars, all of them.....Sadly the hardest one I found to get is Boss Hoggs Caddy! One day, I'll find something!

I bought these back when I started back into modeling. Now they are really hard to find and pricey. Glad you liked them.
